Just an observation i have noticed....

Few years ago you posted in the was it you section and within a week or so you'd spot the driver had replied and you may have made a local mate.

Now you post and nothing.....zip.......sod all....

Active members reduced on here, awareness of forum reduced or some ignorant little tow rags.

Was just something i was wondering.

That's how Cumbrian Scoobs was born when 3of us realised who we were
Great fun and that's how most if the many Subaru clus were formed in the country

I remember when I did the first NBO in 2002 we had 3/4 clubs and 300 cars who didn't really know each other that went along and friendships and clubs were formed l
Now there is 30+ clubs in the uk and most of them have their own forums and anyone wanting to join a club check out the Internet first to see if there is a local club and post there
They are then swamped with hellos and invites to club meetings

Last years NBO there was less then 50 cars who were independant owners rather then in the club scene which had over 350
The spotted thread was great fun in the beginning

Yeah I am quite a recently registered SNetter compared to some and I didnt really see how it worked?

Am I meant to constantly check that thread to see if someone else has spotted me driving around? That said I have looked at it and read some posts that have got replies so I guess thats what people do.

Then i propose a change.....

To use the "Was it you" for other things?

For example - i think these would be nice ones.
?
Was it you that kicked my flowerpot over?
Was it you that passed a dramatic amount of flatulence at the bar clearing it?
Was it you that defecated in my shoe while i was swimming?
Was it you that was walking through town this morning dribbling from one corner of your mouth whilst talking to yourself?

I believe now that the Scoobs are never who it was then these should reinvigorate it
