Default Where do you ago after a Type25? Suggestions please...

I've been toying with the idea of changing my hawkeye Type 25 recently but I think I'm stuck.......where do you go from such a well setup, stupidly quick, smooth and discreet (relatively!) road car!
Sort of snookered myself.
911/GTR/classic or retro?
Might just keep it because I enjoy it so much but at the same time it'd be nice to play with something different!
Any thoughts???
I don't want to spend much (at all) money if I can help it.......I can sort of see this thread going full circle and sticking with the T25.....worth a ponder though!

Been there are came round almost full circle. There really is nothing for the same money out there.
Though for more money I would swap to a GTR.

Running circa 450(was 480 but feels better in my hands at 450)/450....Quickest car I've ever been in (might not be saying much comparatively). Its the prototype of what would have been the mark3 T25. fully forged cosworth with uprated everything!
Ideally I'd want to stick below £30k at a real stretch! Be better if I didn't put money in at all but for the right car.....perhaps!
If there was spare cash then that would be awesome....towards fuel/fun/house...

I have had my my03 jdm sti for 9 years this summer and only running 360bhp bit I am the same as clueless as to what to replace it with. Due to value of it I am tempted to keep it another five years. Any car I look at is either gonna be stupid expensive to run or numerous reliability issues.

Wot about a T36 as a replacment

I was thinking about a change for the future and thought of a rs4 avant as i need an estate, but then again audi running costs/parts etc.
Then thought of forester sti as it ticks all the boxes ( running costs, parts, modding etc) but dont know if i can live with the shape/looks
Theres not much you can get for your buck compared to impreza lifestyle, so i think ill keep impreza a bit longer till i decide.
To the op, keep it afterall the type 25 is a nice find

Got it on Pistonheads for a shade over £16k . It might look a little expensive but not when you see the full spec .

30k would be including part-ex value on the T25...
the problem is that the scoob is such a good car for the money that theres not much to change to....even a side step!
this is my 3rd scoob but it'd be nice to play with something else for a while....quite a few of us in the same position it seems...

Theres been two up for sale for almost a year now don't think there easy to shift for some odd reason. One is priced realistically at 20k and I think that is great value the other is £25k on litcho's site, but I cant see that shifting anytime soon at that price.

What colour and spec is yours?

I've been around this circle too over the years. Just can't think what I'd replace the T25 with, even though it's not the Cosworth.

Keep it, you know it makes sense

Best thing to do is have a change, for a while then come back to an impreza as it makes you appreciate it more and recharges your batteries.

Sounds like a plan....I know that the blue one on litcho's website was sold a while back for sensible money to a buyer abroad.
Mine is a black hawkeye A-line (only one I black I think). All the usual T25 toys (ast, white line, porsche calipers, ap discs, ceramic pads, miltek....big spec list goes on and on) but this was the prototype engine modifications/structure for the mark3 version. The mark3 never really made it to real 'car' since it would have cost in the region of £50k! -I can't see many people spending that sort of money on a 'scooby' even it it was blisteringly quick and phenomenal.
Mine is a 2.5 cosworth block, with 800cc injectors, oversized cams and the Litchfield twin scroll. I was running around 480bhp when I first got it but we fiddled a while and I actualy preferred it with the slightly smaller turbo! It's happy comfy 450 now. Super smooth. Great map on it. I'd probs keep it if I didn't fancy a change....but if theres no sensible car to go to then I'm sure I'll keep it.
Sell it, then come back to scoobs.....I could see that happening but I think I'd want this T25 back or my first bug wrx!

Not as big numbers as you guys but the only thing I keep coming back to is an E90 M3, main thing putting me off is the V8 for the 20 1 mile school runs I do each week and the fact it would be a daily driver so snowy winters could find me house bound!!!

Then I'll be back when the next gen STI is released and I can pick up a year old one for sensible money, not keen on the new one for the pure fact I'd have to add a fair few £'s for a car pretty much the same inside and out.
