It seems that it is indeed a Simtek as there is a Simtek ECU with a model number of E1S97.

I did notice on the ECU that it has a sticker claiming it has been locked by the oringnal tuner. Does that mean I can only take it to the original tuner or will any Simtek dealer be able to map the car?
