Some of you might have seen from my recent thread about my new scooby that I bought it with a fault, speedo and odometer didn't work so as such was in limp home mode, 4.5K rev limit.
Bit of a gamble buying a car with a fault but I'm very pleased to say it paid off, received the new gearbox sensor today, had it fitted in 10 mins, took the car for a drive and very gingerly accelerated past 4.5k, no more limp home mode and car is back to full health.
Needless to say I'm pretty fooking pleased with myself
