i would tend to agree , she is what she is. if you got money to burn, tune it , much more rewarding

i,d defo face lift it personally i think the 99-00 front end brings the old shape bang up to date although i have to admit there are very few original examples left un touched. only you can decide at end of the day its a matter of personal preference

Prefacelift is the way forwards.
They are the original and best.

Plus there are more facelifts than preface, so why make yours less distinctive??

Mine.

If its a good clean example for a 17 year old car I would keep it original as they are getting rare now and as the chavs can get them for a months wages or less there will be even more scrapped in the next couple of years as they forget about maintence and concentrate on driving through Halfrauds and getting stick on tat and funny sounding valves

Best spend the money on renovation and detailing products

People will be more interested in an original old car in the future rather then one that try's to be something it's not
