Default NEWAGE C PILLAR DAMAGE...GRRR

Hi, looking for a little advice from anyone who knows what lies under the c pillar interior trim (maybe someone who has a stripped out newage???) with a view to possibly tapping out a dent.

Question is; is there anything in the way of the outer skin (apart from the plastic trim of course!) such as a double skin or structural bar etc that would prevent me from getting to it?

Some little rascal threw a stone at my car as I was leaving work this week. He put a dent square in the middle of my c pillar and ran off. I got hold of one of his mates who coughed his details. With the Police now involved I'm unsure whether I'll prosecute and minimise cost of repair by doing part myself or go down the Restorative Justice route where I can get the money for a professional repair up front from him via the Police but then he wont be processed through the official 'justice' system.

I am weighing up my options and any help would be gratefully received.

Cheers,

Peter.

There is a lot of metal in the pillars generally: needed for strength. I'd suggest that it may be better to have it filled and painted. All IMHO naturally

I had 2 dents in my C-Pillar on my last scoob from a shopping trolley bouncing off a kerb into my car, First one was about 1 inch above the crease of the rear wing and the other a good couple of inches higher, Both of them came out, Theres a guy not far from you that will sort it, Dave from Dentec in Warrington, He`ll be able to tell you if he can do anything with it

Ask for Dave and mention LADS scooby owners club
