Am wanting to get a fmic but I don't want a 500 pound one as I am not goin around 400 odd bhp

ive never had one for a subaru, but i had a toyo sport fmic on my supra and the quality and fitment was excellent.
if anything if you got one you could replace just the core at a later date as the pipes would be ok

At least you've admitted it's for looks, as in terms of performance, at the level you're at, it's a waste of money.
Without a re-map to go with it, you could finish up with a less capable car.

If unjust wanna be a show off then buy a 2nd cooler of eBay with out pipes and fit that lol, that way u won't have the trouble of cutting panels for pipes and a re-map so it works properly

Really depends on more factors at FMIC,but Hybrid FMIC are great priced,plus Japspeed are good too for money..
About the Toyosport FMIC and other FMIC,is size of cores,which on Toyosport core is smaller than on others(Hybrid,Autobahn,Japspeed),plus fitting of Toyosport is really pain in ****
