Default Remap results.

Well I am one happy chap after today's remap results at Scooby clinic.

Car,

Blobeye wrx
Full decat
VF 34
550 injectors
Walbro fuel pump
STI TMIC
APS Induction feed
Mapped for V-Power
Simtek ECU

It made 346.1 BHP on the rollers

I must say I wasn't expecting that, was hoping for 320-330.

Thanks to all the guys there, awesome job!

Great result that mate, I'm going for a similar set up, I've got all the goodies just saving up to fitted and mapped now, what was the drive home like? also are those power figures safe on the wrx's internals, box and clutch?

Not got it back yet as I'm having k-sport 330's fitted tomorrow morning. I'll put the graph up tomorrow along with a little driving home info

Supposedly the gear boxes on wrx's are the weak link when pushing up the power. Bit of a gamble really but I'm toying with the idea of going 6 speed in the future so that would solve that. Engine internals aren't as strong as an STI either but mine has had an easy life so far so hopefully it'll be ok for a while.

Personal choice at the end of the day I guess.

Still very happy

Nice result there mate, you got in there quick with that vf34 if not i would of had it lol
But now got myself a good one also. Hoping to get simlar result 350ish with same mods, currently got 301 off td04 good engine low miles etc and the later 05 box which are a tiny bit stronger but not had any problems yet.
Think they can just about cope with under 400 but depends on how you drive it i.e launch double clutch etc..
Gear box and diff oil changes do help on making them last imo

Thanks everyone.

Yeah I treat it pretty good to be honest. Most of the time it's just a short trip for shopping but wanted a little more for the odd track day.

Doubt I'll use the LC until I get a new updated clutch but the anti lag will get a blast every now and then.

Looking forward to driving it

I wouldnt use the lc on standard box, it may fail. I used it once, and only once it wouldnt engage gear for about a minute or so, stunk aswell. Never again.
I just use it to make noise at lights etc.
Also the antilag may melt your o2 sensor as i heard or i maybe wrong

Speak to Kev about their uprated gearbox internals for the 5 speed. Supposed to be cheaper than a 6 speed conversion.

Ive heard the ppg are good but my mate broke 2 of them and is now running a 6 speed, so it just goes to show that for a bit more money the 6sp is the safest bet. Not that i can justify putting one in my wrx, might aswell get sti and take it to 500+ safely.
(i have a waggon to ferry my rottweiller about lol)
