No, you can fit an 8-bolt TY754 (Newage) onto a classic TY752, but not a 4 bolt gearbox onto an 8-bolt engine (Newage).

Yes you can, i'll be doing it to my newage wrx so that i can have dccd on my wagon.

But if i were you i'd contact one of the breakers off here and get a newage box as they are supposed to be stronger,and i doubt there will be anything in it pricewise, you might want to consider a new clutch while it's out too.

 

If you haven't got a gearbox yet I've got one from a 2007 wrx if that'd fit and be stronger? Code is TY754VG7AA-T2
