Advice on fmic and bumper with lip spoiler on a classic

Default Advice on fmic and bumper with lip spoiler on a classic

Hi all in deciding whats best either to fit a tmic again or keep the fmic i picked up a bargain today a classic wrx bumper with a lip spoiler already fitted for £20 i was going to fit fogs to it and refit a tmic but is it possible to cut it the same way for it to fit with my fmic as i didnt know if the lip spoiler was to big.

Also im new on hear so are whats it worth threads allowed or do i need to be a paid member cheers

I have a splitter on mine and still run front mount.

Ok thanks mate just wanted to make sure did you just trim it the same as my splitter intrudes under the grill if you understand me i know the grill comes out anyway i want to try and keep my fogs if possible but i think the pipework is defo in the way

As above. I also have driving lights, once you have trimmed the bumper, it's possible to see that the foglight support, the bit BEHIND the bumper that they screw into, also needs to be cut.
Make sure you put a spot of paint on it.
Then drive a self tapper through a small drilled hole from the front to replace it's mounting. (This last for driving light brackets).

This i my car currantly



This is my bumper i picked up today ill hopefully trim it to fit then get it to my mate's spray shop and get it sorted ready to fit hopefully. (sorry its a bit dirty not had time to clean it yet & the poor pic quality)
