Default Boost Gauge Removal

Hi,

Should have done ages ago but only got round to removing the cheap boost gauge that was stuck to the dash of my classic that the previous owner had put in. It was not only greatly inaccurate but unsightly.

My question is - I have totally removed the T piece that the vacumn hose went into (not capped off) and popped the silicone hose in to the block as there was sufficient length. Is this ok as presuming the T piece has no other function.

All the best,

Jeff
