Does any 1 know the legal road limit in db ur car can be?

 

Is there actually a messured limit? Thought exhausts were at the discretion of the guy doing the MOT

Sorry should of explained my self better, I mean by the police is their a limit?

 

No louder than a standard system so a local copper told me. The problem arises when you ask how they know my exhaust is louder as Subaru don't issue any DB readings.

My MOT tester did mention that they are trying to bring in DB tests though but nothing as of yet.

 

They don't have a set db level

 

Only on tracks I belive

 

Aah that's good to know as been getting abit of stick since I've put a new Haywood & scott system on my new age, which is a lilttle louder than my prodrive system ! Lol
