Forced induction is 'fake power'?

Ha ha no someone said to me that forced induction isn't "real power" because the engine doesn't make it naturally. The idea is that N/A motors are the height of manhood or something and turbos are for gheys.

The engine does make it naturally because it uses its own naturally produced exhaust gasses to drive the turbo. It doesn't magically get the power from somewhere else.
Mind you, superchargers are even more natural....

NA power, especially on throttle bodies, is very 'pure'. Lovely throttle response. Turbo engines are consider to be less clinical with regards throttle response.
However, it is probably driven through jealousy. Throw £1,000 at a turbo car and see a massive change. Throw £1,000 at a NA car and see next to nothing. And the NA car was probably slower in the first place!
