gatso question?
If I'm driving towards a camera on the opposite side of the road and it flashes am I getting a ticket? There were no other cars around at the time, It's a 30 road and I was reading 42mph, I was in my fiat and probably doing about 39mph, I knew the camera was there I just didn't expect it to flash...

Not normally, they aren't generally licensed to get you head-on, only the Truvello's can do that. I've been snapped head on a couple of times over the years and noting has ever come of it

Has anyone seen the new generation of Gatso cameras as I think they also include a standalone ANPR camera as well.

Naughty naughty.
Did it flash once or twice??
The one in Swansea from Dyfatty to Cwmbwrla roundabout by the Pharmacy must go off 20 times an hour in the night with cars going the other way. It din`t work for 6-8 weeks as someone set it on fire lol.

they arent meant to go off due to on-coming traffic as flash can distract people.had this happen to me a couple months ago and was advised to not worry and even put a complaint into the safety camera partnership about the flash in my face putting me off my driving.

He's just posted that as a wind up, there's nothing that the OP likes more than a little bit of 'aggro' it satisfies his need to wind people up.
