Hey guys, just bought myself a Subaru WRX 2005 UK 300 and love it but I have some questions...

1. How do I know if it is a genuine UK300, it's got the seats, kit and SWRT on the inter cooler. But is there a proper way of finding out?


2. When I apply the brakes at speed the steering wheel wobbles, I'm gathering a guess that it's warped discs but not too sure...

Nice car mate am sure these have a plaque inside on the dash irrc and possibly I'd under the bonnet... Someone's changed spoiler too mate as that's a Sti v7/8 spoiler not the uk 300 model

 

Also sorry to point out but am sure the uk300 are bug eye models mate not the blob eye, are you not thinking of the type uk which are 287 bhp iirc am sure someone will correct me on here.

yes should have small spoiler though, but looks as if someone has fitted a roof vane,sti spoiler and some sti front bumper spats, shouldnt worry though as it looks better.
the wrx 300 is just a wrx with different seats anyway

 

Yeah I've got the problem now and have had for a while, it is warped discs bud 99%

 

the uk300 was deffo bugeye only.mine has the plaque and has boot carpet and mats saying uk300 on,also the smaller prodrive spoiler,plus the gloss black prodrive headlights.





ive changed rear spoiler on mine now lol.
