Default Any idea of the srap value of a downpipe with CAT

I'm going to do a dump run on Wednesday and included will be a full newage exhaust system, I was just wondering if it will be worth my while passing by the scrap dealer on the way?

Really!! Worth it then.

I'd better take it off the front drive before someone has it away.

I think you'll only get around 40 quid for the downpipe, less for the centre section. Worth shopping around and haggling.

To be honest I'd have been happy with £20, so anything more than that will be a bonus.

Ok well don't settle on that as they'll be worth more. Couple of places in Rainham, near Elite's take them in.
Keep us updated on what you get for them.

subaru uk down pipes with lambda at the top are £80, import ones with the cat on fire sensor at the bottom are £40 and the centre cats are £26 these are classic prices new age are £80 downpipe and £26 centre cats. These prices are from emr where i take mine and they are nationwide so yes they are worth money if you take them somewhere that wont rip you off. They are full of platinum.
