ive had a 95 import wrx for few months and was sat for some time,i got in transported up to mine late one night over the weekend,i knew the bodywork was rough,but nothing could prepare me for it.
the rear archs are a mess,they havent got holes but the rear quarters in genral are just filled with filler.god knows whats underneath, the rest of the body is just in genral scratched,dull and just not very well, the bonnet and roof are fine. engine is fine reciept for 800 quid had alot done,then the immobilisor packed in and now will not alow it to fire up.i dont no what to do,iam considerering either breaking it or littarally selly for buttons, but every time i look at it,i say the same thing........what a shame
i really think its going to cost me to much............what do i do

 

I know where there's a cheap shell pretty solid £250 if you have the time and patience

 

it cost me to much to get it home now i think

 

I could pick it up on trailer for you but still need fuel expenses and such to cover it

 

When you say 'had alot done to it' what do you mean buddy ?
It's difficult to make any money from breaking a standard car that's in poor condition.

 

hi bud if you think the imobilizer is to blame for not starting the fuel pump wont prime if the ignition is turned on i had this go on mine its quite easy to bypass this if you have just a little bit about you two wires to reconect where the imobilizer taps in really mats its easy pm me your tell number will bell you and tell you how to do it if you plan on keeping the car ok cheers jamie

 

hi guys spent a few hours looking at it stripped the alarm system off it,and it fired up,idle control needs taking off and either replacing or cleaning i dont no. i think il be selling, when i say alot done to it, got full decat system,front mounted intercooler,short shift box and few other bits
