Since changing the front discs and pads I get a strange noise when pressing the accelerator. Its only at low speeds ie under 40 and only when the pedal is pressed. It sounds similar to something metalic rattling about. I thought it was the wheel brace in the boot but removed that and the noise is still there. Any ideas?

 

Did you put the pins back in the caliper?

 

Yes but think they may have got slightly bent as they were seized solid and took about an hour each to get out. I was thinking this could be the problem, the car stops fine and feels ok when driving around. Going to get a new set and hopefully this will solve the problem. Has anyone else had the same problem??
