lol this is true, i wish i had just bought new straight away rather than spending 9 months looking for a second hand one though.
quite surprised how heavy the flap is considering its a spec c only part, i assumed it would be plastic but it feels like steel.

This is what I have been looking for but £24.00 each plus shipping and taxes, I think I will get my own repainted.

I would like the later centre console as my own was covered over by either the Japanese owner or the first UK owner who stuck on some carbon fibre tat to mask all the scratches / marks on the dash.
If I could find someone who had done this conversion on the earlier Spec C then I would gladly rip out all the scratched panels and fit the later style.

My Spec C is one of the 2004 models and has the older style centre console and I don't want to convert it to the later type as I have the basic heater controls. As nobody has done this conversion before with this style of heater controls I don't want to get half way through and then find it's impossible to get done.

By all my research on the matter no it isn't, perhaps if the original and new vehicles both had climate control but my Spec C just has the basic AC controls.
Like I said if someone has done it then great (and there is a guide on how to rewire the heater controls as my are different to the standard Blobeye) and I will be on the case and sourcing parts straight away to get rid of the scratched panels that I have.

Great mod mate, possibly the favourite one i did to my Classic.
Have you found anywhere to fit it? There are a few guys on here who have done a couple now. (Anger/Frayz)
