Default new to imprezas

hi im thinking about getting my first impreza ive been looking at the uk 2000 turbos, whats the differences between these and a jap import?

because my insurance quote is £500 more?

JDM have, power (they have more),interior (better quality seats and material imo),versions (WRX,STI ,RA,Type R which all have small differences between themselves nevermind against UK cars)

Uk cars have history you can trace but jdm have less mileage. Your choice.

For the money, you could buy a UK2000 with some nice mods and throw that £500 at it taking it over the power of the JDMs, it depends what you're looking for.

Side by side, like for the like the JDMs kick ***, but there are some awesome 2000's, that have been modified to replicated and in a lot of cases surpass the imports.

Difficult to make a comparison ...
