Scooby burble from a corsa C is the best thing you could ever do to a corsa!
I can see this from two ways; crazy effort to make a corsa into basically just a lightened scooby, but then it would be worth it as itd be amazing for shocking people
Speky, the owner of this Corsaru or whatever it is also has a Tigra that was or perhaps is the fastest FWD car in the UK. His recent 1/4 mile outing was when the car was very much work in progress and had several issues so even without more power his times will improve. He has no Subaru experience so all this is new to him but he is not a dummy so if he sets his mind to it he will achieve spectacular results. He is currently looking out for 550cc injectors and a mappable ECU.
I don't think Specky is big on communications and internet although he does a column from time to time for the monthly Total Vauxhall magazine. He works for RS Tuning in Leeds and although he has never had anything to do with a Subaru before he is a quick learner and has the ability to do much the same with his Corsaru as he has done with his Tigra. When I last saw him he said Andrew Carr was also giving him input regards ECU, mapping etc. so I am sure the outcome will be very interesting.
Like I said above the Tigra was or is the fastest 2 wheel drive FWD in the UK so let us see what he does with 4 wheel drive on a budget build.
specky is a friend of mine too in fact one or 2 bits on this car came from me! believe me his mechanical knowledge knows no bounds this car might not look much at the minute but watch this space im sure it will silence a lot of critics when its finished just as his monster of a tigra has done. i love my scoobys but unlike his little tigra i bet not one of us can say we need a parachute to stop them!
something different i suppose and will surprise a hell of a lot of people! if nobody experimented with anything we wouldn,t have much of anything would we.
cracking job...lol at those knocking it obviously have no idea how much effort and talent it takes to make a project like this a reality. Good luck Specky
