Have been quoted £350 to fit vf35 & set of pink injectors to 53my blobeye !! Sound about right ?? or is some one having me over??

 

Sounds a bit dear to me

 

i did my turbo from tdo4 to a td05 16g and took us hrs

so sounds about right

 

Was told 4hrs labour and remap would need tweeking So may be about right.

 

Sounds a good price for those's 2 jobs mate

i have just paid £240 to have a vf 35, sti TMIC, pink injectors and walbro fuel pump fitted to my 04 blob wagon. Ecutek re-map was £300.

 

Map already done!! He said it will need tweaking after mods are fitted £150
£200 to fit the VF & Pinks.

 

Who's doing it ?

 

Turbo and injectors are a hateful job, I did my own (IT manager who isnt afraid of spanners, just lacks the knack sometimes). After doing it once, Im not so sure Id want to do it again though I did leave off the spare covers etc this time round should it ever need upgrading/replacing again which will save a bit of time.

 

Eclipse Performance There web site is the same name they have done all my mods . Just thought it strange every time somthink is fitted it costs me to remap the remap.
If you no what I mean.

 

Whenever you fit performance enhancing mods you will need a map tweak buddy. Many fit all their bits in one go so only need one mapping session.

 

That must be people with plenty mun !!

 

Not really, infact quite the opposite. It costs an awful lot more money if you need 2 or 3 map tweaks at £150 a go.
