WRX STi Spec D 07/07.

Can I in any way disable the headlight washers from popping up at night and covering everything in screenwash that I have just spent hours waxing?

The book says that when the headlights are on, and you hold the screen wash jet for more than 2 seconds, the headlight washers operate.

I think it's less than 2 seconds on mine, and I keep getting caught out when I've spent hours waxing the car, only to get sprayed with screenwash!

Is there a way the headlight washers can be switched off, or a fuse removed?

I keep my headlights spotless, so have no use or interest for this function.

Locate the washer bottle & unplug the larger motor of the two it will stop the pump lifting the jets up out of the bumper.
