Main things to check are for rust on the rear arches and in the boot floor, knocking rear suspension struts, then any signs of it being abused.
It doesnt sound like its had a particularly cherished life if its not had a cambelt for 70,000 miles. Belt wise, any motor factors will do a belt, but youre better off replacing the kit. A new tensioner, pulley, belt kit etc is usually £200 from places like Graham Goode, Ebay etc.
Is the car standard? I take it you didnt pay much for it?

If you want a service and cambelt done could contact Subaru4you. Looking for one atm and they quoted me less than the local motorfacotors! Its in Newbury so bit of a drive for you but theyre very recommended and very competitive on price. Theres also Slowboy racing near Brands Hatch
