Spoiler Change On My Spec C
I'm putting my MY04 Spec C back to how it should be by removing the STi front bumper plus the S204 carbon fibre rear Spoiler, and fitting a WRX front bumper and rear spoiler as correct for the MY.
I've got the WRX bumper ready to go and tonight I picked up an NB-R rear spoiler from a friend to just use the WRX spoiler but now I'm thinking about fitting the spoiler complete with the lower riser section. I'm not 100% on fitting it complete, but this is a very rare option only standard on the NB-R and the look is growing on me.
What do you think of the below, it's not to everyone's taste but we all have different tastes.

The riser would un-spec c your spec c. Without it IMO.
I don't mind the riser on a NB-R, but not for a Spec C, and since you're putting it back to how it should be, that would mean no uncessary add ons.

I was always 75/25 in favour of not using the riser section, a small part of me likes it but the overwhelming part of me says just use the low spoiler and that is what I am going to do.
I do like the spoilerless look but I like the spoiler more, when I first had the car it had no spoiler and I'm sorry but I had to get one fitted - now anyone want to buy my Kakumei S204 CF spoiler?

Unfortunately or not when the spoiler was removed from the riser it was found that a previous owner (not the guy I bought it off) had done a botched repair thus making both sections only good for the bin.
I'm now considering going for a lip spoiler and getting the holes filled in, I still have the option of fitting another WRX spoiler, but where can I source a good quality lip other than an A Line spoiler?
As I don't want to pay in excess of £320 plus taxes and shipping for what is in effect a moulding.

For posterity here is a link to the A Line / Sti Limited lip spoiler, it's just a shame it's so bloody expensive.
