over the last 2 days when i first start my car from cold the engine check lite flashes on then off literally for 2 seconds any ideas chaps ........i checked water ,oil etc the other day and all fine and never goes over halfway on the heat gauge ??

I wouldnt go doing any mods to it until you've sorted out what the problem is chap. Had a similar problem on mine, turned out to be the knock sensor so had to change it asap.

 

yeah it did hesitate on boost earlier maybe the knock sensor!! easy to sort tho aint htey ive already located it

Have you heard of "Google" ?? Very helpful place.

Theres also a function called "search" on here, again very useful.

You really need to stop asking questions for EVERYTHING mate, eventually people are going to get jacked off and stop offering advice, especially when you keep posting in the general section and not the technical.

You need to do some SERIOUS reading about Impreza's, if you cant change a knock sensor then you're in for a very long, expensive journey.
