Replacement Keys

Replacement Keys
I have a Tribeca 3.6 and have just lost one of my keys. The cost of a replacement from my local dealer is, quite simply, outrageous. Can anyone recommend where I could get a replacement key (single button remote type) that costs less than an iPad, which is what I could buy for what the dealer is asking.

You'll struggle to be honest. you need the sigma plip case and the blade with the chip inside which as far as I know only available from a dealer. How much have they quoted ?

They have quoted £179 for the key + £29 for a kit to adapt the key from a two button key to a 1 button (UK) key + £50 labour to programme the key + VAT. You can see why I'm looking for an alternative. There are companies that will provide keys with a transponder for the immobiliser but not with a remote to unlock the door, which also switches off the alarm.

It's the remote that's the problem. Lot's of places will provide keys with a transponder but I believe that it's the single button remote that both opens the door and switches off the alarm.
