Default New member....

Hi there, I've just purchased my first Impreza.....wow! Why did I not buy one years ago...very pleased with it (only had it since yesterday) and the acceleration is immense...knocks my old skyline into the slow lane!!!
here she is in all her glory...small upgrades such as 5" straight through ninja exhaust, k & n panel filter, k & n blow off valve and a flip out dvd player. Planning for some gauges next on a nice pillar pod....any recommendations gratefully received...92000 on the clock, full service history, cambelt done at 89000, respray and rear arches sorted in may '12, 17" Rota wheels...I'm a happy boy!!!

Cool, I am with Torbay Scoobies - find them on facebook. We are showing at Southwest Autosports show tomorrow at Newton Abbott Racecourse. They meet every Thurs night just outside Torquay. There are other clubs bit further afield (South West Scoobies, Bath & Bristol Scoobies and Dorset Scoobies) if you want to google them also. Hope you find one

keeping it well serviced and getting it mapped after any mods along with usual warm up and cool down period if driving it hard should see the car continue to put a smile on your face ignoring this advice would see the smile disappear fairly quickly! enjoy the car and welcome mate

Welcome chap and congrats on taking the plunge! Maybe you can offer some advice to Irondrew who's been a member 18 months and STILL hasnt bought an impreza

https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...k-out-for.html

Looks a nice clean example you've got, I reckon it would look good if you can get the skirts and bumper hockey sticks changed from black to silver to really give it a clean, fresh look.

bodywork looks excellent mate, and no silly stickers!

What made you change from a skyline to a scoob?

Had been searching for a skyline for about a month, could only budget for a non turbo rust bucket so wasn't impressed...went to Smeatharpe drag and drift last weekend and got hooked on the looks and sounds of the scoobys there...only took me a week to find my beauty....(after gaining the obligatory regulation permission slip from my wonderful other half of course!)....equally tunable, reliable, 4 doors (to let the kids in) looks better, sounds better...just is better!!!
Dont know why I hadnt seen the light before
