Back to scooby-land? + questions...
Hi All,
Am seriously considering re-joining the scooby owning fold after a few years away. Had a UK Legacy Turbo a while back (03/04 ish) and am looking for a bit more power now I'm not commuting and have sorted out housing commitments.
Currently torn between a late '54 WRX Wagon and a '07 WRX Wagon. The '54 is lower miles (30K), FSH and just had cambelt done - completely standard and up for 4995. The '07 is higher miles (56K), also FSH and apparently has PPP, otherwise standard for 6950.
Questions:
Assuming the 07 has PPP - what would be the output in bhp/torque? How would you be able to check if the PPP is genuine (I'm assuming from other threads it would have some sort of certification in the paperwork?)
Would PPP'ing the '54 WRX leave it much short of the '07?
Any reliability pluses / minuses for either car (as compared to each other?)
Would either of the cars (in current state) "feel" much different to my old Legacy? Would I notice the extra power? Are either more "nimble" or "chuckable" than the leggy? - A bit of a tough one I know, but it's been a while since I had the Legacy!
Over to you guys...
