Default New Radiator Burst

Hi, I would like a little advice please....
Ok, so I went with my son to a well known Subaru dealer to get his intercooler swapped, he has a WR1 and I have a STI Type UK. When I was there I noticed my radiator had cracked and the dealer said they could get one and fit it for £230.
I left my car and picked it up 2 days later, handed over the cash and got a receipt with 12 months guarantee.
After less than 40 miles the bloody thing has let go all over my drive, luckily i had just come back from Mcdonalds, less than a mile away so hopefully no damage.
I looked at the radiator from the lower front grill and it looks like it was second hand, I have doneless than 40 mile but the fins are all damaged and corroded on the front.
Will the garage have to collect the car or do i need to get it towed to them, 20 miles away.
If the engine is damaged will they have to pay for repairs, head gasket etc.
I would just like to add that if they dont sort something I am sure I can have them for fraud, the radiator was not new.
I wont name and shame if they sort it.

Thats shocking mate and would defo contact them to get a solution, they may pick the car up due to the hassle, dont ask u dont get,
But 230 for. A standard radiator, ive got the mishimoto one with lifetime warranty and paid just more than u did for a standard one,
Runs cooler and looks better.

Are you sure its not the ac rad that you are looking at from the lower grill ??? On mine the ac rad is in front of the engine rad.

Even so the rad is clearly not new as stated when they said they would change it. No new rad would have bent fins 40 miles in..... Get a refund and change it yourself with a nice new one... Easy job. You defo see some change out of what you paid them.

P. S name them imo!?

60 quid new on ebay and an hour diy, at least you know the job is done. (I went down this route and the part was exactly the same as the genuine item).

Ok, a quick update.
I owe an apology to garage, the rad was new, it was the a/c rad I was looking at.
I found the leak coming off a blanked pipe near the drain tap. I phoned the garage and they collected Friday.
They rang Friday afternoon and told me they had fitted another rad which split and then fitted another which is ok and car will be delivered back on Tuesday.
Sounds like a bad batch of radiators. Thanks to the garage for their customer support and sorting problem.
I just hope the engine isn't damaged.
