2005 Worth It?
Hi Guys,
I'm patiently waiting for a nice 2005 Blob STI come along, when I say patiently I mean impatiently
I have money to spend and nothing to spend it on. Which got me thinking, is the 2005 with DCCD and wide-track worth the wait or should I expand my search to also looking at 2003/2004 blobs too?
Genuinely though, is the 2005 worth me waiting? As I understand it the widetrack and DCCD give the handling benefit whilst the interior redesign is more akin to the Hawks.

Yes wait for it imo, think the wide track came out 54onwards, and they have the facelift dash trim like the hawk.
If you want to be more picky get a jdm. Imo the best. Or even a spec C even better.
Good things come to those who wait.
Whats your budget?

Deffo 100% wait for the right car. If you rush out and buy one (because you want an Impreza) you'll regret it. Wait for the car you really want, it'll be worth it.
Keep saving the pennies while your waiting and you never know, you might end up with enough cash to buy a spec C...

I had to wait almost 12 months for mine, was itching to spend the money but just kept looking, I was after a near standard my05 jdm in wr blue in good condition and one just appeared on autotrader. I went to view it and walked away, then phoned back a couple of days later to make an offer, no point in rushing as you may regret it.

People will travel three times that distance for the right car. There are SN members in mainland Europe who have travelled thousands of miles if they want one that badly.
150 miles is a very narrow area.
