Fast shine
Guys sorry if its wrong area but we all seem to live in here
For a good polish i use maguires and have the full set polish wax wheels stuff etc clay bar
For a quick washo i use snow wax and sponge then either turtle wet wax or better still maguires quick detailer, but the maguires costs alot and prob lasts 3 washes.
So. My simple question is, can anybody reccomend a good 5L tub of something that i can pour into a garden mist thingy, and use for a good quick shine, ie spray on wipe off kinda stuff
Thanks guys
Ted

LOL, think you do.
In fairness Matt, if the above works for you, carry on. If you do actually want to learn better cleaning/detailing methods, there's a wealth of knowledge out there. I'm not as hardcore as I used to be (haven't the time) but still use the really basic stuff like 'two bucket method' with a lambswool wash mitt, waffle weave towel for drying, good protective wax for the bodywork and a proper wheel sealent too.
Unless your post was sarcasm, in that fact ignore the above

Jet wash with a lowish power machine to remove large dirt particles.
Jet wash with snow foam lance and let dwell but not dry.
jet wash the snow foam off.
2 buckets with grit guards. One with shampoo and one with clean water.
Wash one panel at a time cleaning the wooly mitt in the clean water before going back into the shampoo bucket.
rinse shampoo off.
Dry with a leaf blower and or a waffle weave drying towel.
Once dry i use detail spray and a micro fibre towel to remove any water marks.
apply wax with applicator, dwell then buff off with micro fibre .
Do not use sponges or chamoises as these can trap dirt and scratch the paint.
This is my washing technique, every 6 months i also clay bar
Hope this helps.

No COB, no sarcasm buddy. That is honestly how I do it but always open to a better method. I do often see swirl marks come to think of it.
Two bucket method ?? Is that the shampoo bucket and clean water bucket mentioned above ?
Need to get myself down to Halfords I reckon for some new equipment.

It's only a couple of basics as said above. Even worse when you see a £20,30,40k+ car getting washed in the local Polish/Iraqi/Turkish carwash Why buy something and not try keep it in the best state possible?

I ran out of Meguiars Quick Detailer and found the cheapest price for the 3.6lt had gone up to £30 (posted)
I found a website via Ebay and bought a few items for a lot less than the usual prices
