new to this site .

basically was running very low on fuel . so filled up a bit later . then the car cut out on top of the hill . and wouldnt start again .

messed with the fuel pump and it kept going on and off but is fine at the moment and i got the car started as soon as the fuel pump came on......do i need a new fuel pump or will it be ok from now since the fuel has gone through it ?

3rd it should be fine if it not cutting out, try avoiding letting the fuel go bellow 1/4.

 

If it's a classic, check fuel pump wiring under rear (drivers side) seat - common problem.

still trying to get used to this site lol .

its fine now ....was stuck in the road for like 4 hours ..then realised the fuel pump was in the boot ..messed around with the wiring and it came back on . phewwwwww ...saved some money lol .
