27k for a new STi is more like it, they were never going to compete in the mid 30k bracket.

Subaru/IM would have to go along way, (more than a £6k price drop) to tempt me to buy another brand new Impreza!
The poor quality after sales & warranty on an engine that is known to have a few issues, which the deny, is stopping me. Not the price!
I'd be well pi55ed if i'd have paid full price recently!!

I bought a new 58 hatch Euro import and have done 33K miles. Never missed a beat. Always put Supermarket super unleaded in now. Dont trust the shell garages or independants not to put ordinary unleaded through the super unleaded pumps. Regularly does 32 to the gallon at motorway speeds
