Default Passenger side headlight change awkward'

only a month or so since having to replace the driver side bulb..lo and behold the passenger side one blew yesterday whilst on a long drive over to wales, anyways got the bulb today...and started, how the hell do i stop my alarm going off when i remove the battery lol...it must have a backup system cos both pos and neg were disconnected...got all the moaning neighbours out...so refitted battery and proceeded to fit bulb with what space there was...ie hardly any, finally managed to get the bulb in, with only minor skinned knuckles...so whats the deal with the battery...ps my car has the standard thatcham system i believe

Hello mate, what year of car do you have?

Personally on my 2002 I remove the lights altogether.

Not sure why the battery is being removed bud, no need.

Did you replace a side light bulb, or a a high/low beam bulb

If the later, no need to remove battery
