Learned a lesson though, I'm NEVER going to get an alarm fitted by a mobile installer again.
John Tromans (European Sales Manager for Clifford/DEI) told me it would be unwise to get a Clifford alarm fitted by a mobile installer.
Keith from K&M Acoustics also said when he did mobile installation it was very easy to "cut corners", but in the workshop there's just no need.
My alarm and loom are currently on a test bench being put together and tested, before installation, this can't be done on a driveway.
If you are thinking of a Clifford alarm, get in touch with Clifford/DEI first and ask who your local authorised installer is, they don't authorise anybody to do it. And if they're not authorised they shouldn't have the alarms in the first place.
Be careful, and dont end up with 8 weeks of trouble like me, or worse like Steve Goode.

555,
I picked my car up from them tonight. You're right, they are top blokes. Anthony (who re-installed my alarm) even wired the rear fog light correctly with a relay, as apparently it was a bit of a botch job aswell, i didn't ask for this and they didn't charge me either!)
I just wish they had advertised in my Yellow pages, as i would have gone there first.
I'll plug them aswell:
