Thought I would put this to the board.

Went to the dealer earlierm and he told me that because my car is from Belguim, that the service interval is still 7.5K miles !!

Is this true. Can I get a new service book.

Thanks,

Olly.

Yes, I believe it is only UK cars that have the new service intervals (we believe to attract fleet buyers).

I would doubt if you could get a new service book easily.

I dont care if it is 50000 mile intervals.

My 7 week old Sti7 has done 5000 miles and the oil is being changed tomorrow.

Letter to (with reply from) Subaru Benelux after sales.

Subaru UK have just announced that the service period for the MY02
has changed from 7,500m(12000km) or 6 months to 10,000m(16000km) or 12 months, I believe that they are sending out new service manuals to reflect this change.

Can you confirm whether this is also true for Subaru Benelux and if
so will the new service manuals reflect this change.

This is not true for Subaru Benelux.
Service period remains unchanged : 12.500 km
No new service manuals foreseen.
