I always (now) use Lavender Hill Garage in Enfield.

It's only 20 mins from Hatfield and they have done my last 3 services. Bit further for you Watford peeps though.

Wot service we talking here?

45k was a bit under £400

Considering I paid over £450 somewhere else for the 30k, I don't think that's bad

And.......what exactly did they do for that ???
According to the service book etc a lot of checks and oil/plugs and air filter...i think it's a lot of cash for what they do, i know you want to keep the book up to date etc but is it really worth it ???

Yes I do want to keep up the history - this is the first half-decent car I've owned and I want to treat it half-decently too (oh and the warranty only expired a couple of weeks ago).

45k service includes £100 of cambelt replacement as well as all the usual checks, etc.

I suppose with the cambelt replacement that's not really a bad price. It's when you have to get the clutch done !!!

I don't see many around, everybody goes for the Turbo...but i can't justify the cost of insurance !, running a motorbike as well you have to make some compromises !!!
