Hi All

I'm getting some mods done in the next few days and then getting it re-mapped.
The issue is the place doing the re-map have told me i can't get the injectors done and then drive it to them as it will kill the engine where as my man doing the mods says this isn't the case.

They've said they can do it for me for £45 when i take it there or i can fit the injectors in their car park. I can't do it in their car park as i personally can't fit them and my man works around 25 miles away from there

I'm going from the WRX 440 injectors to the STI 550 injectors so the question is, do you guys think it would be ok to fit the 550's and then drive it around 25 miles to get re-mapped or do i take their advice and stump up the £45.

I hate having my pants pulled down, that's all

Newage wrx ecu will cope with sti injectors no problem. It might stall occassionally and you will need to drive it gently below 3k revs but the ecu will adjust for cruise and idle until mapped.
