Guys i am about to buy a decat down pipe for MY01 WRX in prep for an upcoming map.

I cannot tell if i need a 2 1/2" or a 3" pipe. There has been no modification from standard exhaust system except for a cobrasort backbox (already on when i bought it)

Question is what the bloody hell do i buy? and what is the standard pipework size?

It isn't 3" as std, think 2 3/4 or 2 7/8" IIRC ??

Actually just tell the supplier it's to mate with std mid pipe and you should be OK.

OK Cheers, when looking for sizes on Japspeed, scoobybits Etc they always state 2 1/2" or 3" bore.

Then the WRX is likely 2 1/2 " ??

Tell he supplier the car and they should be able to supply the right diameter pipe.
