Default Suspension experts ! Could You have a look PLEASE ?

Hi Guys
I've recently changed the springs on my V2 Sti and went for a laser wheel alligment to my local tunning garage.

Here is the spec of my suspension:
- New shocks (standard replacement Kayaba)
- Whiteline rear ARB 22mm with new bushes
- Whiteline rear drop links (wire type)
- front is standard with really worn ARB bushes

These are the prints:

BEFORE

AFTER

Could you tell me please, what do you think about these settings ?
I have to say that car is handling a LOT better, TBH it feels like they've changed suspension components not just made settings :-) I would never say that it will make such a BIG difference !

My question is:
Are these settings shouldn't be same on both sides ? I mean degrees figures. It looks like there is a big difference in caster (left 2.52 to right 3.16)
Also rear camber -1.29 to -1.06

I have new uprated front droplinks and ARB bushes waiting to be fitted as well as uprated steering rack bushes. The guy who was working on my car said that I could also change caster bushes to uprated ones.

What do you think about all this ?

It's a daily driver car with occasionally weekend fun :-) no track days (yet).

Thank You

I always recommend Prodrive settings

Front Camber -1°20' / -1°15' / -1°10'

Front Toe-in (Total) 0°02' / 0°06' / 0°10'

Front Caster / 3°00' (Referential value) /

Rear Camber -2°15' / -1°30' / -0°54'(Std Subaru tolerance)

Rear Toe-in (Total) 0°02' / 0°60' / 0°10'

Surely you need some toe in to get the front wheels parallel when actually going ?

If it was my car I wouldn't except the difference in camber even though it's in tolerance range, tbh I'm surprised they allowed it, I always try to match sides even if it's an old banger in for adjusting guess it boils down to pride in work.

Turbotits,
No rear camber bolts fitted.
I'm really surprised because the mechanic that was doing it is a Impreza owner and he seems to know what he was saying.
As I said I don't know much about these things/settings, but I thought that left and right side should be at least similar when in this case 2.52 to 3.16 and 1.29 to 1.06 seems to be a big difference :-(

Should I go there back and ask to change it then ?
I paid £70 so I would like to have it done as best as possible.

Agree, they've been set parallel. which is odd

to the OP

Yes id like to see a little more rear camber up to around -2 and around -1.5 on the front. Ofcourse it depends alot on what you asked for?

Tyre wear doesnt bother me as its not an everyday car

I'd want them redoing but you'd be bett off fitting the rest of the stuff you've got first as that will change the balance of the car as well

Actually I'm after tyre wear because it's a everyday car and that's what I asked for really.

ok so the settings arnt to extreme. If you go more camber will handle better but it will wear tyres quicker.

Correct me if I'm wrong but by changing ARB bushes and droplinks won't affect car's geometry, right ?

Ok, so in other words saying, for everyday car, as mine is, with occasionally more spirited driving, are these settings good or should I still ask them to change it ?
I'm really happy from handling now comparing to what it was before, even my wife noticed a difference. This garage has a REALLY good reputation and I don't really want go there and tell them that they did something wrong when I have no clue about those things, if you know what I mean ?
I was expecting that figures on both sides will be same, but they are not and TBH I don't understand why ? Is it that hard to make/adjust them equally ?

Hi id like slightly more positive toe, maybe 0.5mm

theres no adjustment for caster so its just on there for reference purposes
,
Slightly more front camber would be an advantage however you could start wearing tyres fast if you go too far,

Thats as much rear camber available in the standard bolts on the rear struts that youre gonna get without special bolts.

To be honest as its a daily driver either ask them for slightly more toe or leave as it is.

Shaun,
Don't give me wrong please, but do you know all this from experience or you've heard from somebody ? As I said, this place has a Very Good reputation and I'm guessing that they're know what they doing so...
I'm not saying that you're wrong but I want to be 100% sure before I'll go there and ask for adjustment to what they have done.
If we are talking about slightly increase of tyre wear but better handling, I don't have a problem with that. But if it will affect tyre wear much I'd like to change it.

I'm really sorry for all that guys but I'll be getting soon a new set of tyres so I want to be sure that they'll last a while.

Thank You for all replies and sorry for my grammar but English is not my first language so...
