Possible RA sale, 500 Abarth replacement
Well, i never thought this day would come, but i'm seriously considering selling the RA.
I've owned the car 5 years now, and have put lost of money into the car. But, it just doesn't get the use, having done 10k miles in 5 years. I am looking to get something smaller, better mpg, that my partner likes, but with a little bit of fun factor. I've been looking at the little Fiat 500 Abarth. I know it's miles behind the 350bhp/1100kg performance i'm used to, but thought it might still be fun.
I've not been on here much at all recently, another hobby has been taking my time. What am i realistically going to get for the RA in a private sale? See my garage for spec. I've spent a lot getting it to where it is, and part of the reason for selling is, if i don't, i'll start spending more on the next stage, namely 6 speed and turbo upgrade.
Anyone have experience with the abarth?
Tim

I guess i should have expected that response!
I do love the RA, it's been so reliable since the Api forged build, never letting me down. The main concern i have is when i sold my last impreza, it was 5 months until i had to buy another. I'll mull it over a bit more i think.

All **** taking aside, if you lasted 5 months last time you got rid, you will just do the same. If the mrs wants a more comfy car there's plenty of options, big German saloons are cheap as chips now and very comfy. Or can go other rout of a smaller sized car go day to day.

Pointless selling it due to lack of use at the moment, with the values on the floor the way they are. If you can store it inside, why not just take it off the road and get something to run around in that is still a bit fun as well?
You're bound to regret it big time by the sounds of it. Mine only does about 1,000 miles a year, but I still keep it, as I know I'd never forgive myself if I sold it. Even though it is "just" a quick wrx.
