If you're JGM, with this information coming to light, what do you do now then?

You thank the OP for making this public rather than sending it via PM.

Unfortunately and i fully well admit i was trying to be the model better man by not kicking crap out of him and trying to use the law (civilised and all that gubbins). Naturally it has slapped me right in the face and whilst i fully agree kicking crap out of the 6ft+ lumb of lard would be very satisfying it would not make money drop out of his pocket and could very well land me with an assault charge. That is something that would cost me a lot more than £1200. Furthermore scammer is the type of person who throws the mrs forward to battle and fortunately no matter how ugly i don't see no satisfaction in beating his mrs.

Nevertheless there are other avenues that have been explored and are being followed

Is that the snowplow? The red one but modified? Does anyone know if he sold his 700bhp engined straight cut geared Sti V1 (albeit with standard brakes)?

the whole story made me kind of mad, you tried to follow the correct avenues and retrieve your money and the law took the side of a thief.

hopefully he will get whats coming to him and you will get your money back, but as you say violence will solve nothing here and would probably land you in trouble.

good luck in whatever is planned

I fully agree. I have indeed discussed tuning with Simon via PM and email so I have no doubts as to his abilities. It was more the case he is or would be working with a known scammer. I wouldn't have thought it would tarnish his excellent reputation, but would you (as a mapper in a hypothetical situation), want to be associated with this type of person especially after your detective work exposed it Well done on that by the way, I still maintain I had a lucky escape by collecting in person.

It also had lexarse lights!! He used to spout on about it having a 2.1 stroker but you only had to look at the car to know he was full if sh*t, it actually looked like an "ebay special"

IMO he is in the top 3 bullsh*ters ever to grace SN...With tales like the RS500 he had that his grandad left him and how he was going to buy an Impreza cosworth with the commission he had made that month when in reality he didnt have a quid to scratch his **** with..

Why would JGM not associate with him ? He paid for a service , JGM supplied that service.(he should try it, its a good way to do things)

Its not like he is in business with him.

Exactly, Shaid did the correct thing by getting police involved, and despite all this the courts decided it was NOT a criminal matter. God knows what their interpretation of fraud is supposed to be, but I thought it was intentional deception made for personal gain at the cost of others.

Going around knee capping people is not the solution...it just makes that person a primative retarded knuckle dragger and I'll happily see anyone who does that being reamed in a prison alongside Luke as well.

There are legal ways to get one up on someone, and they can be just as satisfying.

Well maybe because the bloke (Luke) is a low life ripping off scumbag. Alienating and ostracising such scum would be the right thing to do. Plus it would prove JGM has the moral fibre to do the right thing. Infact I doubt doing business with rip off merchants would look good on anyone's CV.
Ps nice find Tommy.
