We were all young once, but how can I stop next doors kids playing footie on the street - with my precious scooby on the drive.
The latest game seems to be kick it as high as it will go and see where the ball lands, which 9 times out of 10 is on my bonnet!!
I already sound like a Victor Meldrew.
What's the going rate to take out 7 year olds?

Explain to them that when you were a kid you did the same, but would they mind avoiding the car... then offer them a spin round the block if their parents ok it....
Alternatively shoot them!!!

When I was a kid we used to try and chuck a monkey wrench as high as we could in the air (please don't try and psychoanalyse this). One time it landed on the roof of my neighbour's Peugeot 504 (?) diesel.
Not a scratch.
My solution: swap Scoob for 504.

I fully sympathise with you, however, the last thing you want to do is shout at them as it will only make things worse (especially when they're older!). Try this:
Stage 1:
Have a quiet word with them along the lines of "look, I don't want to spoil your fun but please can you try & keep the ball away from my car". Also tell them that you have put a camera up.
Stage 2: Talk to their parents.
Stage 3:
Hire a rottweiler or contact Social Services (either will have the same effect!).
Stage 4:
Wait until THEY get a car (okay, it's 10 yrs away)and get your own back - this happened to a prolific car thief around here. When word got round that he had bought his own car, some of his victims smashed it up (not nice, but neither was what he did to his victims)!!!!!
Stage 5: Move house!

Re Robins suggestion " confiscate ball"
Watch wot u r doin there, I did that b 4 an ended up with the plods at my door for "reported theft of a football"
Told the plod the gen his reply was "sorry m8, I know how u feel"
Coming from a plod
Solution was nxt time the ball came in2 my drive, nip out n burst it b 4 they came in for it, then chuck it in2 the street
" Sorry guvnor wasn`t me" ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Adam K is right,
You could borrow mine if you want, but he is likely to pull your car down the drive even with the handbrake on!
And he can puncture leather footballs in one bite.
Why chain him up he could join in the game woul not last long
Cheers

Play this one very carefully. If you **** kids off these days they will not hesitate to run a key down the side of your car
Try to be polite, constructive and be prepared to compromise. It ain't fair that it should be that way but you can't watch your car 24/7

Sorry guys but prob is quite easy to solve - Rottie & I agree here. If your garden is enclosed only, I let my Big red Psycho dog wander about. When the ball comes into the garden, lets see who is brave enough to come & get it!! After they lost a couple of ***** (literally) they stopped playing near my garden.
For Hire******
1 Big Red Psychotic Dog - needs a lot of feeding (kids, cats etc)
Hire terms are I get to keep any jewellery, designer shoes etc from dismembered limbs.
He's quite nice really but as he's got red eyes, scares the sh*t out of people.

i find hanging menacingly out of my bedroom window with an air rifle does the trick. alternativley u could chain a rotweiler to your car and watch the little brats stay away now ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

have u ever seen in train stations how they have spikes on top of signs and things to stop pigeons landing on them???
well how about metal spikes on top of ya car so stop ***** landing on it??![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
i'm sure after a couple of burst football incidents they will stop playing near the car.
