Looking for a 450bhp scooby
Hello,
would like to buy a bugeye or blobeye with at least 400-450bhp. Live in germany and would then come over and pick it up myself.
Money wise I know it will cost;-)
regards
michael

Have you ever owned/driven a 400bhp impreza ??
Why 400bhp ?
There's a story,
Man goes to tuner and tells him he wants 450bhp. Tuner says jump in this and I'll take you for a spin so you can feel the power.
They go for a drive and customer says that's exactly what he wants.
Tuner then tells him it's 330bhp.

Hi Mike
Got a specD Hawkeye (2.5) running 442hp. Fully forged (built by Neil@Slowboyracing), mapped by Duncan@Racedynamix, running an SC46 billet turbo, RCM headers, Exeddy twin plate clutch etc etc.
Let me know if of any interest, can let you know the full spec.

Cheers mates,
my wrecked classic had a proved 363bhp and I´ve already looked at 3 bugeyes which according to the sellers should have had around about 350bhp, but I was disappointed because it was not like my old classic.
Of course it will cost me, which on the other side does not mean that I can pay to much. 15-16 grand is enough though.
I think I´ve found the proper powerfull scooby. Looking at it on tuesday
Thanks for the pm´s and other messages, I will give a report to the site and hopefully photos if it is the proper one

Hi, the thing about a newage is it's a much stiffer and more refined car than a classic, and no matter how much power you put through one it's never going to feel like a classic because they are a totally different car that happen to have the same engine and name.
I have an STI type r and a Blob WRX wagon with PPP.
The Type r is 200kg lighter and has 50bhp more but in the real world on bumpy roads with damp patches the Blob is quicker in many situations when you check the speeds involved, the type r feels faster because it's more of a hand full.
On the track the the type r will wipe the floor with the blob.
