Default Replacement Alarm Siren

Had mine replaced by Subaru main dealer and thought i would put up the information as this is a common problem.

The new siren is part No SACC3468-06 £57+vat

It comes with new four pin plug and wiring instructions for the connection to the alarm control module and single black wire is to be connected to the bonnet switch.

The main dealer chaged me £75 for the fitting but now seen how it was done, it could be done by anyone that has some good electrical/mechanical know how.

I can write up a process of how to replace as i watched this being done at the dealer, quite simple, the black wire threw the dealer fitter and after some searching on the net while there told them what it was for!

Prob not goot to post this up on the forum as it may break some forum rules with locations of kit within the car; Admin please advise.
