Default Rocker covers, are they worth machining?

Do you think it is worth making a billet version of these? Do you think there mabe a better way of sealing them ?

I cannot see any benefit to be made by making them from billet, although they would look Tasty in some anodized colors.

I have thought their must be a better way to seal them, especially the bolt holes, I had thought a recess to hold an O ring for the bolt to go through.

It would depend on price ultimately.

People fit shiney stuff to show off. You can't see them so what is the point.
As regards to improving the sealing arrangment - redesign the engine!

The heads are on their side, directly above an exhaust manifold.
