Default uk supercharger kits

Hey all. Been looking into ways to increase the performance of my NA ej20 gf8 and was considering a charger kit. Ive seen some projects with eaton m62 chargers and the raptor supercharger kits. What i was wondering is if anyone knows any uk based charger kit companies
cheers

just swap the engine to a turbo charged impreza engine.

would imagine its far cheaper and would be more powerful and easier to fit second hand engine.

Friend of mine fitted a super charger to a sport. Melted some pistons!

Completely pointless.

Expensive and end results are nothing to shout about.

I'm the one Micky is referring to. Ive looked alot into supercharging scoobs and my honest reply would be to say dont bother. Money wise its far more financially beneficial to just sell yours and buy a turbo. The kits that you can buy are pointless. You could eat a tin of beans and fart more pressure than those chargers make and power increase still struggles to measure upto that of a standard turbo. I melted the pistons within a few hundred yards as i wasnt fully researched on the subject as i should have been at the time. Was certainly a learning curve. It can be done, but takes a LOT of time, money, knowledge and research. As for the previous comment of dropping a turbo engine in, you'd need the full loom, all ancilliaries, gearbox and diff, full clutch system, full exhaust system, front subframe, full turbo watersystem and radiator, ecu and probably a few other things i've forgotten atm.
