Default Standard ARB's and coilovers. Good idea ???

Hi guys.
After little accident I've had, my rear 22mm ARB is badly damaged. Was thinking of buying new one as well as front one (22F and 24R) but...
The plan is to start some track days soon and was wondering if fitting new coilovers (BC's) and leaving standard ARB's would be a good idea ?

Car is V2 Sti
Suspension setup ATM:
- Red Eibach P1 springs with standard Kayaba shocks
- front and rear uprated drop links (Whiteline)
- front strut brace

Was thinking of buying anti roll bars and anti lift kit but for the price of those and adding few £ I can get a set of new coilovers.

What route should I go ?

Thank You

arb's and alk first. THEN the coilovers, then a full geometry from someone who know what he/she is doing, Carnetix and Powerstation are ones I'd trust.

How old is your current suspension setup? If it's getting on a bit I'd much rather have fresh dampers than stiffer ARBs.

I've driven my car (blob wrx) on track with the standard setup, then coil overs and ARBs drop links and then on coil overs with uprated ARB's / drop links.

Yes, it's better with coil overs and ARBs, but if I had to chose I would personally go for the coil overs before the ARBs, as the coil overs make the car stiffer and more resistant to roll anyway. The ARBs become the icing on the cake.

Hmmm. So it's 50/50 at the moment :-)
Henrik,
Shocks I've at the moment covered about 7k miles so they are nearly as new.
I do roughly 300 miles a month, mainly to work and back and as I said I can't afford to buy everything at the moment. I have to chose what to buy first and what would suit better on the track ?

I have another idea.
What about adjustable shocks Kayaba AGX plus combination of rear ARB and ALK or front and rear ARB's ? Would this setup be better than coilovers with standard ARB's ?

How about going on track with the setup you have now before spending money? That way you can decide if you want to spend the money on suspension bits or something else (e.g. brakes or something else).

Contrary to popular belief, even a standard subaru will be plenty of car to hoon around in, especially if it's your first time

:-)
I know what you mean but I have a budget to spend on suspension anyway so looking for possibly best option at the moment. I know myself, if I will not buy it know, I might spend it on things I don't necessary need now :-) plus I need to sort my suspension anyway due to accident I've had some of the components got damaged so...

you sound like me

Like I said, I'd personally go for coil overs if you've got the budget for them, but otherwise the ARB + drop links will give a decent improvement also for a lot less money.
