Recently bought a 96 jap import Wrx. It's had a few things tinkered with it,

3 inch straight through de cat ss exhaust
Lightened fly wheel
Comp clutch
Short shift box
Suspension
Breaks

When I put my foot down , it sometimes cuts out for half a second half way through boost, then boosts again. Making it an extremely jerky ride. Any ideas? ... I'm completely new to scoobys , and this is my first turbo car, so I really do no nothing !!

Any help at all is greatly welcomed .

Welcome mate, did you not check all this before buying.
don't worry this place is a wealth of knowledge sometimes too much when it really gets going. Someone will post soon

 

Could be hitting boost cut

 

Sounds like boost cut to me too if its coming back on after a few seconds
